Exclusive- Vimarsh Roshan enjoys playing negative roles, says, "I always had this huge penchant for strong negative characters even when I had no thought about becoming an actor"

Actor Vimarsh Roshan who currently essays the role of Digvijay in the show Pukaar-Dil Se Dil Tak, reveals his love for playing negative roles.

He said, "I enjoy essaying a negative role. Currently, I'm delighted to play the role of Digvijay in Pukaar. My character in the household drama is a hot-headed, impulsive guy who did not get the chairmanship of his family-owned business, and because of this he destroyed and scattered a family. The show's basic story is about the scattered family reuniting and taking their revenge."

Vimarsh has been a part of renowned shows like Balika Vadhu, Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, among others talks about his showbiz career.

He continued, "Well, I just walked into my acting career without any preparation or a plan. In retrospect, I do think that I should have invested myself in preparation but about plan, I still think planning would not be of any consequence to me since I am more of a floater than a competitive swimmer. Though I always had this huge penchant for strong negative characters even when I had no thought about becoming an actor."

Vimarsh previously said that as an actor, he is looking for good work all the time, and he took this show as it offered him a substantial role. He added, “I naturally want to grab it and do my best to display all I have gathered in my journey as an artist so far. I am grateful to get this opportunity.”




Pukaar-Dil Se Dil Tak is produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah, featuring Sayli Salunkhe, Anushka Merchande and Abhishek Nigam in lead roles. It also stars Sumukhi Pendse, and Sukhada Khandkekar playing prominent roles.
