Urvashi Dholakia, who has given some notable characters to the television industry and is best remembered as the OG vamp of television, is all set to return to the television screen. The actress will be once again be seen reprising the role of a lawyer in Pushpa Impossible. Urvashi created a strong impact as Devi Singh Shekhawat, a lawyer in Pushpa Impossible early this year and the makers are bringing back her character on the show.
Urvashi has already started shooting for her role and she will soon enter the show.
Talking exclusively about her comeback on Pushpa Impossible, the actress told ETimes TV, "Of course it feels amazing to be back with the same beautiful and lovely people. This team is amazing and all my co-stars are so loving. We all have an amazing rapport. What we share is something that is quite rare. Over here they have always welcomed me with open arms, pure heart even in the past and this time as well. I love it."
When asked how much she's enjoying playing the lawyer again, she said, "The role is the same as I was playing earlier but obviously it is different because being a lawyer onscreen means that there are different tracks. Viewers will see different cases. Every time my stance, behaviour, take on things, attitude will be different. Hence, as a performance it gives me a lot of scope to perform differently from what I’ve done previously."
With Pushpa Impossible, the popular actress got a chance to play a positive role after 20 years. Due to the popularity of Komalika, the actress was mostly offered mean roles. However, with this show things changed.
In an earlier interview, Urvashi had expressed her happiness at doing the role, she told Bombay Times back then, "I was quite shocked when JD Majethia approached me for the part. I am glad that those associated with the show put behind their inhibitions when it came to me. It's not a matter of breaking the image, but bringing out the best in an actor. All this while, you have loved to hate me, but I am very sure that this time around, you will love me."
