Actress Suzanne Bernert was overwhelmed with emotions as she enjoyed an opportunity to meet the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar. The actress popularly known for her work in TV shows such as Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Kasautii Zindagii Kay expresses her happiness on meeting him.

She said, "There are moments that, though brief, hold great significance. Meeting the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Ji for the first time was one such experience for me. Our exchange was short but pleasant. He greeted me with warmth and grace. The resulting picture is a cherished memento. It felt surreal and amazing."

Suzanne also mentioned about drawing inspiration from the politician.

She continued, "Met him for maybe a minute, but what impressed me was that he was very polite, talked to everyone and took his time, Didn't rush! I do think the public underestimates how much work politicians have in only one day."

The actress met him on February 28, during an event in Delhi. Later in March, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted due to uneasiness and chest pain. The 73-year-old was taken to the hospital around 2 am and placed in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the care of Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of Cardiology at AIIMS. He was discharged from AIIMS last Wednesday.

She added, "I am glad that he recovered from his hospital stay. I wish for his speedy recovery.."

Suzanne was last seen on TV in the popular show Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan. She is also known for essaying the role of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi several times on screens. She recently made her Telugu debut with Yatra 2.
