After vehemently refuting rumours of being in a relationship for long, the comedian duo of
Sugandha Mishra
and
Dr Sanket Bhosale have finally professed their love in public. The two surprised their fans on Saturday with a social media announcement that they are all set to get hitched. The couple shared a love-filled picture on their Instagram accounts. We have learnt that they will tie the knot on April 26 in Jalandhar (Punjab). It will be an intimate affair and the couple has planned everything keeping the
COVID-19
crisis in mind.
Informs a source close to them, “The engagement and wedding will take place on the same date. Like they say, it’s ‘Chhatt mangni, patt byah.’ Given the COVID-19 situation, it will be a close-knit affair with only a few in attendance. Sanket is making sure to keep it as low-key as possible. Being a doctor, he is even more aware of the crisis and safety precautions, and wants to ensure that everything is in place.”
Sanket, who is best known for his impersonation of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, is a well-known artiste in the comedy circuit. He is the host of
Baba Ki Chowki
and has appeared in
The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) and Gangs of Filmistan. Sugandha, who, too, has featured on TKSS, is also singer and an actor. She had participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and made her big-screen debut with Heropanti. She has also featured in the fantasy show, Baal Veer. She is especially popular for impersonating the legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar.
