Subha Rajput, currently seen as Goddess Shakti in Shiv Shakti -- Tap Tandav Tyag, and Vibhav Roy, who got engaged on December 25, 2022, following a nearly three-year courtship, have parted ways. The couple ended their engagement a while ago. They have also removed pictures from the engagement from their social media pages. Subha and Vibhav met during the shoot of the web series, Pyar Ishq Rent, in 2019 and fell in love.
A source informed us, “Vibhav and Subha mutually decided to end their engagement. They realised that they wanted different things in life. Although it was a difficult decision, it was right for both of them.”
While Vibhav remained unavailable for comment, Subha said, “I don’t wish to comment on my personal life.”
Vibhav, who has been part of daily soaps like Gustakh Dil, Doli Armaanon Ki, and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, is currently seen in Shaitani Rasmein. In a decade-long career, the actor has somehow stayed away from the non-fiction genre. In a chat with us recently, while responding on whether he desires to be part of a reality show, he said, “Never say never. Participating in reality TV comes with collateral damage, and I’m a bit timid and non-confrontational. I've reserved a certain aspect of my personality for my close ones and going big on reality TV might not align with that.”
Subha who has been part of many OTT series, is also known for her portrayal of Priyanka Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaaz. Before she bagged the title role in Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyag Tandav, she was seen in the supernatural show, Bekaaboo. In December 2022, a few days before her engagement, we had a chat with the actress and asked about her plans for marriage, to which she replied, “We will see how things roll and how we are placed in terms of our work schedule. We must think about the family also and their availability. We just thought about going ahead with the engagement for now. Once that’s done, all of us will sit together and talk about the wedding.”
