Sachin Sharma, a popular contestant from Splitsvilla X5, recently shared his shift in support during an exclusive interview with TOI TV. Initially, Sharma rooted for Jash and Akriti, believing they had the potential to win the show. However, as the competition progressed, his perspective changed. Now, he firmly backs Digvijay Rathee for the win. Moreover, he expressed his disappointment in Akriti for making serious accusations against him in several interviews.


Sachin opened up about how he was in full support of Akriti but her behaviour towards him changed everything. He further revealed how the change of heart is also driven by Rathee's consistent performance, resilience, and strategic gameplay, which have made him a standout contestant. He appreciated Rathee's determination and believes he embodies the qualities of a true winner.


Sachin’s initial support for Jash and Akriti stemmed from his admiration for their partnership and dynamic. He said, “When I was asked to leave the show, I expressed how I was Akriti to win the show. Many things happened between us for which I’m sorry. She faced a lot on the show because of me and yet continued to perform well. I don’t care who says what, I just want her to win the show.”


Sachin then praised Digvijay’s approach to challenges and alliances has earned him respect among peers and viewers alike. He also highlighted Rathee's growing influence in the villa and his potential to claim the title. Sharma's comments have sparked conversations among fans, with many agreeing with his assessment of Rathee's capabilities. He said, “Initially it was Akriti for me but now it’s Digvijay.” Fans are enjoying every bit of the show.
