Exclusive - Sehrish Ali aka Nandini Singh Rajawat from Apna Time Bhi Aayega on her favourite Eid memories

Sehrish Ali, who plays the role of Nandini Singh Rajawat in Apna Time Bhi Aayega talks about her food delicacies that she enjoys the most on Eid-Id-Zuha. She also revealed how her plans of going to her hometown Bhopal did not materialise and now she is spending the festival here in Mumbai with friends.
“We celebrate two kinds of Eid, one is Id Zuha and the other is Eid-ul-Fitr, and my favorite is Id Zuha, as we can have non-veg for the occasion.We prepare dishes like mutton and Sheer khurma and we have immense fun celebrating with our family members. As I’m always on a diet, this festival gives me an excuse to have my cheat meals. Like every year, I was planning to go back to my hometown Bhopal for Eid, but due to my shooting schedule, it got revoked. So, I’ll mostly celebrate at home, cooking what I love the most and enjoying it with my friends from Mumbai, who have eventually turned out to be my closest family," she said.
The actress also spoke about her memorable Eid as a kid, "I still remember as kids, Eid was all the more special because of the Eidi we used to get from my relatives. There was this one year, when I had actually collected around three thousand rupees, and I took my parents and brother out to a restaurant to treat them. That feeling was just amazing, because it made me feel like I had grown up. I just wish I could go back to reliving all those Eid memories,” said Sehrish.
