A two-and-a-half-year-long relationship that began on the set of Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali has come to an end between Sayli Salunkhe and Kushagre Dua. They both desired different things in life. Understanding their expectations for their lives were different, they felt it was better to part ways. The relationship has ended on an amicable note.
Informed a source close to the couple, “Sayli and Kushagre fell in love and were certain that it wasn’t a fleeting romance. They wanted it to culminate in marriage. However, they eventually realised that they wanted different things in life. After trying their best to work it out, the couple failed to reach a consensus. They decided to part ways on a positive note in December. They wish each other well.”
Kushagre, who is currently seen in Neerja - Ek Nayi Pehchaan refused to comment on the news. Sayli, who plays the protagonist in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, also refused to comment.
On the work front, who began his acting journey with Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, has been featured in shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Udaariyaan, and Divya Drishti. His show Neerja, which starred Aastha Sharma, Rajveer Singh, Kamya Panjabi, and Ayub Khan, went off air last week.
Talking about Sayli, before being roped in to play the female protagonist opposite Mohit Malik in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, she has been part of Spy Bahu and Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai. In the show, she portrays the character of Vandana, an aspiring playback singer. Her life changes when her paths cross with Kunal Malhotra (Mohit Malik), who hears her voice and tells her that she will never be able to become a playback singer. The show, which hit the tube in August last year, also features Karanveer Mehra, Leena Jumani, Yatin Karyekar, Kshitee Jog, Vishal Nayak, Amit Behl, Aishwarya Narkar, Ankita Sharma, Sheeba Akashdeep, Romit Raj, and Digvijay Purohit.
