The actress joined us for a quick conversation, wherein she revealed that she considers her grandmother as her inspiration, who came all the way from Kanpur to Mumbai to pursue her dreams.
She says, "My biggest source of inspiration is my grandmother, also because she’s the first one in her generation from my family who came down from the city of Kanpur to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. She was that passionate about it. She could not do so many projects because situations were very different back then as compared to now"
Furthermore, she states, "I feel that I’m living her dream, I’m living my father’s dream. I’m the seed that they planted which is growing and flourishing and it is due to their blessings. I strive everyday to become better and my inspiration and motivation comes from there. Also all these brilliant actors who are younger than me yet are doing such great work, inspire me and I aspire to learn from them.*
Apart from her hit show, She has been the voice of films like Gunjan Saxena, Brahmastra to name a few. Saavi Ki Savari is one of the popular shows of Indian television and has been running successfully for the last one year.
