Ranveer Singh Malik, who is currently seen in Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan, congratulated Ekta Kapoor on her Emmy win.
Ekta Kapoor made history by becoming the first Indian woman to be honored with the prestigious International Emmy Directorate Award, recognizing her remarkable contributions to the realms of arts and entertainment.
Ranveer Singh Malik, who made his debut in the television industry with Ekta’s show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein in 2019, congratulated the maker on her big win. Speaking to ETimes TV, he said, “I just want to congratulate her. She truly deserves. She has transformed the television industry. She is the flag bearer of television. She knows how to capture the audience. She totally deserves the award. She is an example. She being a single mother, she created an empire. She has set an example for all the women.”
He also recalled the time he met the TV Czarina. He shared, “I had met her once. I was very conscious at that time. We just exchanged greetings. Had seen her work since childhood and getting to work in her show and then meeting her was nice.”
