Exclusive Pics! We had a baby shower where we followed all Maharashtrian customs and traditions: Sugandha and Dr Sanket

Standup-comedian couple Sugandha Mishra and Dr Sanket Bhosale are soon going to become parents and the couple hosted a baby shower party for their close friends and family in Mumbai, recently.

The baby shower followed Maharashtrian traditions, including all rituals like barfi-peda, oti-bharan and dhanush baan. They also had some fun games like the fastest diaper changing competition. Sugandha said, "I won the diaper changing competition. Sanket and I also performed on a song, which was composed and written by me and we both sang it. It was titled 'Naya Mehman Aane Wala Hai'."

Sanket added, "We were dressed in traditional clothes and we decided to have the entire function around Maharashtrian customs and traditions. I am glad that we had a lot of fun and it was lovely to see Sugandha smiling and enjoying the party. We are now waiting for the little one to arrive soon with God's blessings."

The couple recently posted their baby moon pictures on social media and announced the pregnancy. Sugandha said in an earlier interview, "It is a feeling of excitement, gratitude and love as we embark on one of the most adorable journeys of our lives. Currently we are holidaying in Goa and enjoying ourselves. It is our favourite holiday destination." Ask Sanket how is he taking care of Sugandha because he is a doctor and he said, "I don't have to do much because Sugandha herself takes all the precautions and follows all the do's and don'ts of the doctors and even follows my advice. We are truly blessed by God."

The actress has no plans to take a break after the baby is delivered. She said, "I have been working since day 1 of my pregnancy and I went on a world tour for live shows, too. I have been travelling for my work and I am sure my baby will also love to travel after he or she is born."
