Exclusive – Patiala Babes’ Ashnoor Kaur talks about being gym buddies with her on-screen mom Paridhi Sharma
Paridhi Sharma and Ashnoor Kaur shared a great bond as the mother-daughter duo in Patiala Babes. Off-screen too, they share a great bond too. Recently, news broke out about pulling the plug on the show.
Before the channel called Patiala Babes off-air, in an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Ashnoor had spoken about her bond with her Patiala Babes co-stars.
After taking a leap, Paridhi Sharma and Aniruddh Dave had to make an exit from the show.
And Ashnoor misses them a lot. She shared, “I miss them all. Paridhi di, Aniruddh bhaiya, Mohit and Hunar di. But we are in touch. Paridhi di lives around and we also go to the same gym. I meet her there often and we also cheat on our diet.”
Ashnoor further recalled her going crazy with street food in Patiala. She shares, “We had gone to Patiala and both of us love junk food. We had hogged a lot on street food. We had chole bhature on our last day. But of course we also burnt calories together at the gym.”
Ashnoor also spoke about her current co-stars Sourabh Raj Jain and Saisha Bajaj aka Arya Singh. “Off-screen we have so much fun shooting. When we are on sets Chutanki (Saisha) will come running and sit on my lap. And with SRJ I remember it was he who reminded that we had worked together earlier. I was very young and didn’t remember. He had very chivalrously come and introduced himself. So that was the ice-breaking moment between us.”
With news of Patiala Babes going off-air, Ashnoor told BT “I am not able to digest the fact that the show is over and we won't be working as a team. It is sad but I am happy that I got to portray a role like Mini and given the circumstances I think it was in everyone's interests.”
