Exclusive - Nikki Sharma brings fresh energy as Kishmish in Dhaakad Beera; says 'It feels great to enter at such a crucial point'
Actress Nikki Sharma, known for her expressive performances and versatile roles, is all set to enter Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Dhaakad Beera. She will be seen essaying the role of Kishmish, a character who brings a fresh perspective and emotional depth to the story as it takes a significant leap.
Speaking about joining the show at this stage, Nikki shared, “It feels great to enter at such a crucial point because the kids have already set the bar so high. Now, with us stepping in, the story takes forward a new journey with many shades of life, more complex relationships, and fresh dynamics.”
Kishmish’s upbringing in Hongdae is a sharp contrast to Beera’s village life, and Nikki finds this difference very exciting to portray. She draws inspiration from her own college days in Mumbai, blending that urban experience with Kishmish’s innocence and wisdom. “The key to this character is maintaining her sweet and innocent self while showing how life has made her wise. She knows how to enjoy life without losing that purity,” Nikki explained.
The show is set to explore deeper relationships, especially the emotional bond between Kishmish and her brother. As the narrative unfolds, Kishmish realizes the sacrifice her brother made in sending her away for her safety. This storyline, Nikki believes, will resonate strongly with viewers as it highlights love, sacrifice, and acceptance in familial bonds.
With Dhaakad Beera, Nikki promises to bring sincerity and heart to every scene. She hopes audiences will connect with the realism the show offers. “Life is never just black and white—it’s filled with grey areas. The show captures that truth beautifully. Even city audiences, living in a bubble, will see a mirror into village life through this story,” she said.
As Kishmish enters Beera’s world, viewers can expect a powerful blend of innocence, strength, and heartfelt storytelling that will add new depth to Dhaakad Beera.
