Exclusive - Nikitin Dheer joins the cast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Housefull 5
Nikitin Dheer, who captivated the audiences with his portrayal of Ravan in Shrimad Ramayan, is the latest addition to the star-studded Housefull franchise. Just days after completing his role in the mythological TV show Srimad Ramayan, Nikitin Dheer is already preparing for his next exciting project. Known for his commanding roles, Nikitin's entry into this multi-starrer promises to bring an exciting dynamic to the comedy series, adding another layer of entertainment to the upcoming installment.
Sources close to the project informed us that the actor, who was part of Housefull 3, is returning to the hit franchise. He will be soon flying to London to shoot for the film.
The much-awaited fifth installment of the popular Housefull franchise, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is set to begin filming later this month in London. Starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, the movie also introduces new faces like Fardeen Khan and Pooja Hegde to the ensemble. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, this latest addition promises to deliver fresh humor and entertainment, making it one of the most anticipated comedies of 2024.
In addition to being part of Housefull 5, the actor has landed a significant role in Raj and DK's upcoming OTT series Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom. This six-part limited series boasts a stellar cast, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ali Fazal, making it one of the most anticipated releases.
Earlier, while talking to us about playing Ravan in Srimad Ramayan, Niktin had exclusively shared, "Honestly, I believe the role of Ravan was meant for me, almost as if the universe had orchestrated it. It's something I had silently wished for and manifested within myself. Despite keeping my desire to play the character to myself, I've always been drawn to the role, having studied it extensively. Interestingly, within 15 days of getting a tattoo of Lord Mahadev, something I've long wanted, I was offered the role of Ravan in Shrimad Ramayan. It felt like destiny had aligned perfectly, fulfilling a major wish of mine."
Nikitin Dheer is known for his imposing screen presence and roles in films and television. He gained fame for his portrayal of strong, often villainous characters in movies like Chennai Express and Dabangg 2. Apart from his film career, he has made a mark in popular TV shows like Ishqbaaaz and Naagmani.
