Exclusive! Namik Paul's Lag Ja Gale and Sai Ketan Rao's Chashni to wrap by mid-May

Television channels are constantly bringing in new shows. However, the shows often wrap up in a short span of time. After Durga Aur Charu's wrap up in just three months, the newly launched shows Lag Ja Gale and Chashni are also set to end this month.

ETimes TV has exclusively learnt that Namik Paul and Tanisha Mehta's Lag Ja Gale will conclude its shoot by May 14. The show will be making way for new soaps on the channel. As the source close to the show mentioned, "It is all about the low viewership. Everything was going fine. However, the concept couldn't impress the viewers."

While Sai Ketan Rao and Amandeep Sidhu's Chashni will be wrapping up their shoot soon and ending by mid-May. Dates haven't been revealed yet but it is assumed as both shows have the same makers, they shall end simultaneously. Both Lag Ja Gale and Chashni were also launched at the same time.

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Amandeep credited her previous show Naagin 6 for being the reason behind her bagging Chashni.

She shared, "Anmol was a brat kid, if she wants something she can get it. As an actor, yes I grew a lot with the show but I cannot credit all my success to Naagin only. Teri Meri Ikk Jindri also gave me a lot. It was my first lead show that led me to more shows. I would say Naagin 6 has boosted my career and I believe I got Chashni because of Naagin 6. I was shooting there and giving mock shoots. For a couple of days, I was doing Chashni and Naagin simultaneously."
