Exclusive - Monika Singh: Main focus will be on weight loss and taking care of my health, this is what I plan to gift myself on my birthday
Actress Monika Singh who was recently seen in the show Tulsi Dhaam Ke Laddu Gopal, is turning a year older on September 23. Though she doesn’t typically plan her birthday, her friends and family always make it grand for her.
She said, “Every year, something or the other gets planned, and this time too, there was a plan to take a break from clubbing and parties and go on a vacation to spend some time for myself. But due to work commitments, it hasn’t been possible. With upcoming songs and shoots being scheduled, everything is quite busy. Normally, I celebrate with friends, maybe go out, hit a club, or have dinner together.”
“On my birthday, I’m usually not very active. I’ve never really planned my own birthday. Last year was the first time I made plans for myself, but every time, my friends and family are the ones who take charge, so I don’t really prepare much for my birthday,” she added.
Monikka ensures that she visits the temple in the morning on her birthday and added, “If I have time, I make sure to donate something, like food or blankets. These two things are a must for me on my birthday. The rest of the day, I celebrate with my friends and family. There's nothing too special beyond that.”
As a birthday gift to herself, she promises to keep an eye on her health. She said, “I had lost quite a bit of weight earlier, especially after Tulsi Dhaam Ke Laddu Gopal ended, and I managed to maintain it well. But due to some medical issues, I’ve started putting the weight back on.”
“Also, because of work, I haven’t been able to focus on my workouts and health as much as I should have. So yes, my main focus now will be on weight loss and taking care of my health. That will be my gift to myself,” she concluded.
