Exclusive - Manisha Rani on her bond with Abhishek Malhan: Our bond has no labels; it’s above a ‘romantic’ relationship

Manisha Rani is receiving immense love and fame for her journey in Bigg Boss OTT 2. The actress in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV spoke about her bond with Abhishek Malhan, Elvish Yadav and her journey in the house. Manisha also shut down dating rumours with Tony Kakkar and shared that they are just friends. She confirmed that she is doing a song with Tony. I always visualised getting all this love from people. I want my fans to become my family and I want love from everyone. When I came out of the Bigg Boss house and saw all the love, I was amazed. In fact, once I sat four hours just reading the comments and saw 99 percent love and positive messages. They wrote to me that when I cried on screen, they also cried with me. When I came to Mumbai from Bihar like 8 years ago, I always cribbed and felt disappointed about why I’m not privileged and why I belong to a small town. I would feel sad thinking why I don’t have facilities like others, why is life difficult to me? But now that I’ve got this opportunity after Bigg Boss, I feel I’ve earned everything on my own. Today, when people love me and tell me that we have seen your struggle and you are our inspiration, now I feel thank god I made it on my own, was not born in a well to do family or come from a small town. My bond with Abhishek and Elvish is still the same and it hasn’t changed. But one thing that changed is we all are out of the house now after 60 days and busy with our lives. Abhishek’s family is amazing. Just recently Abhishek was telling me, tere naam ka toh maara lag raha hai mere ghar mein… Manisha Rani. They are loving me and I love them too. His entire family is amazing, sabka nature uncle, aunty they are such good people. Uncle’s vibe is such that it feels like he’s my own dad, his brother Triggered Insaan, he supported me so much when I was inside the Bigg Boss house. Prerna didi also. Abhishek and my bond is very pure. Sometimes, some bonds are such that you can’t put a label or tag on. People become girlfriend-boyfriend and then they fall apart but friendship is a bond that stays forever. Our bond has no labels; it’s above a ‘romantic’ relationship. Tony Kakkar got me chocolates and flowers. Actually, what happened, I and my father met Tony ji a day prior and I got chocolates for him. He’s my favourite and I was meeting him for the first time so I got chocolates for him. To return the favour, when we were the next day, he got me chocolates and a flower. He gave it to me as a friend. But when we were leaving, the media arrived and we got conscious that this would be taken otherwise. So we thought of keeping it inside my purse quickly. In fact, my sister also told me that you guys are friends. There was no need to hide the flowers and chocolate, even friends can gift each other. That time our minds didn’t work and we got conscious. We are just friends and have met twice till now. But media mein chal raha hai that we are dating and all.
