Actor Raghav Thakur who was last seen playing the titular role of Krishna Shukla aka Krish, in the TV show Suhaagan recently sought blessings at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga located near Nashik, Maharashtra.

On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, one of the most sacred festivals for Hindus celebrated by Lord Shiva’s devotees across India. In 2025, Maha Shivratri falls on Wednesday, February 26. He shared about his fondness for the holy place.

He said, "This Jyotirlinga is a holy place of spiritual reflection and devotion. The Jyotirlingas, revered as the abodes of Lord Shiva, are scattered across India and serve as powerful spiritual centres. I visited Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga recently and experienced magical moments and will remember them always. I could feel the presence of the lord himself and his blessings all around."

He continued, "Trimbakeshwar is unique as the only Jyotirlinga where Shiva’s linga has three faces, representing Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. The temple also marks the origin of the sacred Godavari River. People see Trimbakeshwar as a reminder of life’s interconnectedness and the cyclical nature of existence."

Being a follower of Lord Shiva, Raghav highlighted the significance of worshipping him.

He shared, "Lord Shiva is a principal deity associated with destruction, transformation, and regeneration. Revered and worshipped in various forms, Lord Shiva symbolizes ultimate bliss, knowledge, and spiritual truth. The Shivalinga is an important symbol in Shiva worship and represents the creative energy of the universe. He is revered as the destroyer of evil and the protector of the universe. He is also associated with the transformative power of destruction, which is necessary for new creation to emerge. Shiva is also known for his compassion and is considered to be a benevolent god who helps those in need."

Raghav also added, "Lord Shiva is not only a revered deity in Hindu mythology but is also considered as the ultimate Guru or teacher who imparted wisdom to his disciples. His teachings in Shiv Puran are not just religious but are also practical and relevant in modern times. His teaching includes Dharma, Karma, and Moksha, Importance of Self-realization, Detachment, and Inner Peace."



On the work front, Raghav also acted in Nima Denzongpa.
