Anup Upadhyay, the makers have now roped in the multi-talented
Vishwanath Chaterjee
to play a meaty role in the show.
Vishwanath Chaterjee rose to fame with his appearance in Bollywood films like Dhadak and
Luka Chuppi
. He received immense praise and love for his acting chops.
Sources close to the makers revealed that Vishwanath is a hardworking artist and very true, dedicated to his art of acting. He's a sucker for learning more and that’s what attracted the makers of Excuse Me Madam to rope him for this comedy show. Vishwanath will essay a rival character to Rajesh Khanna's role, Sanam.
Speaking about this role, Vishwanath said, “I am grateful and excited to play a unique character and what makes it even more special is his accent and dialect. Being a Bengali myself the diction and dialogue delivery, body language came naturally to me to portray the role. My look in the show is corporate and formal attire. The fact that my character is an ambitious person and a professional competitor of the protagonist, always tries to let him down by hook or crook. I'm sure the audience will show appreciation to my role as they always have and I am thankful to be a part of the show that will definitely bring a smile on the faces of the viewers."
