Laughter Chefs success - This show feels like a real family

There is a lot of positivity on this show. Honestly, it doesn’t even feel like work. We are always having fun, and that’s how the show gets made. It may be a scripted show, but it doesn’t feel scripted. It feels fresh and different. So full credit to the creative team. The way Vankush writes and plans everything is amazing. This show feels like a real family. We call it a family, and it truly is one. No one has an ego here. If Krushna is doing well, everyone is happy for him. Everyone performs in their own style. There are big stars on the show, but each one is confident in their own way. (Photo: Instagram)

Bond with the Laughter Chefs cast

Everyone here treats me like a brother. They love me and respect me as a senior. No one has ever spoken badly to me. Sometimes they may feel upset about my leg-pulling or jokes, but they never say anything or complain to me. It’s never like that. They might show a little disappointment backstage with the creative team, saying 'mujhe aisa bola', but not towards me. Overall, they care for me a lot and show me a lot of love. They take all the jokes sportingly. (Photo: Instagram)

After so many years, Bharti and I are working together again, and we are happy

My association with Bharti has always worked well. It has grown beautifully. After so many years, Bharti and I are working together again, and we are happy that the show has continued successfully. People have liked it and are still loving it. They have also connected deeply with this on-screen family of Laughter Chefs. I want to thank the audience for giving us so much love. Laughter Chef is also slowly becoming a milestone, similar to The Great Indian Kapil Show

There was a time when people would come to me for autographs and photos and say, “Krushna ji, we watch Kapil’s show and enjoy it a lot.” Now they tell me they watch the show on Netflix and talk about each episode. That feels really special. People say they enjoy the episodes a lot. When it comes to Laughter Chef, they say, “Oh my God!"Laughter Chefs" keeps playing in their homes. Now, it has joined Kapil’s show, which is a big achievement. I think that’s a huge thing because Kapil’s show is already a milestone on both television and OTT platforms. Now, Laughter Chef is also slowly becoming a milestone in its own way. (Photo: Instagram)

There has been only one Bharti in India and nobody can take her place

How does Bharti even manage all this? She delivered her baby and returned to shooting on the fourth day. How is that even possible? But she is one of kind. Working so much during pregnancy and standing here day and night, she is truly different. God has made her special. That’s why there is only one Bharti. For the past 10 years, there has been only one Bharti in India and nobody can take her place. (Photo: Instagram)

Performing as Govinda during The Great Indian Kapil Show in front of Rani Mukerji

I had a great time, and Rani Mukerji enjoyed it a lot too. I could see how much fun she was having. I even performed one of her songs from a film and carried a board that was in the original song too. Rani told me that she had written those lines on the board herself during the original shoot of Hadh Kar Di Aapne. She said she recalled all those moments clearly when they shot in Switzerland at that time. For her, it felt like a complete déjà vu moment. (Photo: Instagram)

Sunita Ahuja's accusation against Govinda

Sunita maami has every right to speak, she is his wife. What can anyone else say? Between a husband and wife, it’s their personal matter. She is his wife, and Govinda is our legend. She has the right to express herself. I don’t want to comment on anything between them. I’m a family person, and I respect and care for both of them. I do see a few things in the media, but I don’t know how much of it is true. If she feels upset, she has every right to feel that way. It’s completely her right. (Photo: Instagram)

On Govinda's return in Bollywood

People have wanted to see Govinda mama on-screen for many years. It’s not that he doesn’t get offers, he gets plenty, but he chooses not to accept some of them. I think it’s all about his mindset and choices. He has worked in the industry for 40–50 years. If he doesn’t want to do a particular show, that’s his decision. He knows his position and his worth very well. I truly believe that if he decides to take on something, he can bounce back again. I know him — he is strong-minded and very intelligent. He works on his own terms. He is a great artist. There is no one quite like him in the industry. I’m not exaggerating — even Salman and Aamir have said the same. He is truly one of a kind.
