Exclusive- Kanwar Dhillon on Udne Ki Aasha becoming the top show of the week: The team has been working so hard to deliver at-par content consistently

Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora starrer Udne Ki Aasha surpassed Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and became the top show this week. In an exclusive conversation with Times Of India TV, the actor shared his joy and his plans to celebrate the milestone.

Udne Ki Aasha surpasses Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta and becomes the top show of the week, what led to this amusing leap?

Udne Ki Aasha has consistently been in the top 3 and about the top show in the list, it was just about a matter of a few decimals that we had missed out on climbing the ladder. There have been numerous instances. But I think this was supposed to be our week and it feels so good to be the No 1 show. The team has genuinely been working so hard to deliver at-par content consistently. It's all credit to our writers, producers and viewers for showering us with so much love. Also, our team consistently left no stone unturned in delivering episodes day in and day out. I think this was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time and the top 3-4 shows have the competition pretty tight so scenarios keep changing every week and healthy competition is always welcome.

Are you guys going to celebrate this moment together?

A small gathering and dinner were planned and whenever we completed a milestone we had an intimate celebration. A team gathering happens so we all will be catching up for food and celebrating it together. It is better to keep it lowkey and nothing should be taken to the head. Our team totally believes in staying focused and continuing to make a good show.




Kanwar earlier shared, "We have been in the top 3 for the last two weeks, fluctuations between the top shows always happen and it's great to have healthy competition. I think it's just the love of the audience and the connection they have with the show that keeps us in the top slots. Udne Ki Aasha has a very unique content, story and genre which has hit the bullseye with the viewers. When the content is good, the characters are relatable and the show is good it will always work and I think Udne Ki Aasha is the byproduct of it."
