Exclusive! Imlie revived my career and I am fine with my journey coming to an end now: Karan Vohra

TV show Imlie is taking a leap and new leads will take over. Karan Vohra, who is currently playing the lead, in an exclusive chat, shares how his journey in Imlie has been a good one. The actor says the show revived his career after the break that he took.

Karan shares, "After Krishna Chali London (2019), I went away to Delhi and was there during the pandemic. It took a while for makers to give me a chance again. And when I came back, I was not sure if I would be able to crack lead roles again. But, thankfully, the makers found me appropriate for the lead role in Imlie and everything fell in place. So, I am glad that the show gave me the recognition I needed and it revived my career after a lull of two years."

The actor is not unhappy about the show taking a leap. He says, "Our track ran for a year which is not bad. I joined the show in September 2022 and it has had a good run. How long can one stretch it? All these rumours about the lead actors being disappointed with the leap are untrue. I am glad that this journey is over and the show is now moving on to a new story."

On the personal front, the actor who recently became a father, says, "I am just waiting for my shooting to get over. I want to get my babies in Mumbai. Theyv are in Delhi right now. It will be nice and relaxing with my children. I look forward to new projects, too."
