Ask Dev about the chat mangni pat byaah and he said, "I have known Aarti for quite some time now so it was not like I met her yesterday. Before getting engaged, our families have known each other for a long time. I decided to get married soon after my engagement because I needed to decide where I will be based because of my pilot studies. Aarti wants to become an entrepreneur and so we thought to get married first and then pursue our careers and dreams together."

Dev said, "I am glad we got married closer to Shivratri, which falls on February 26 this year. It will be a small wedding with just family and close friends because I have never preferred a big fat wedding since childhood. My parents are extremely emotional right now. I was never a workaholic and never wanted to fulfil my dreams alone. I am glad I found a partner who will be my perfect companion in the journey of life. Aarti is a simple and traditional girl and I am glad everything has happened at the right time in my life."
