Maha Shivratri is one of the most auspicious festivals celebrated in India. Maha Shivratri, the Great Night of Shiva, is a sacred festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, symbolizing spiritual awakening, strength, and transformation. Devotees observe it with fasting, night-long vigils, and the ritualistic abhishek of the Shivling with milk, water, and bel leaves. Many believe sincere worship on this night brings divine blessings and inner peace. Kishori Shahane from Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye talked about Maha Shivratri as more than tradition and it’s her personal journey of faith, reflection, and gratitude, connecting her to Lord Shiva’s virtues of resilience and devotion.

Kishori Shahane, who essays the role of Babita in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye said, “Maha Shivratri is a festival close to my heart, symbolizing devotion, strength, and inner peace. Lord Shiva represents balance—the ability to stay calm yet powerful when needed. Every year, I observe this sacred day with prayers and gratitude, seeking his blessings for wisdom and resilience. The tradition of offering bel leaves and milk to the Shivling fills the air with devotion, reminding us to surrender our worries and embrace positivity. I believe Maha Shivratri is not just about rituals but about self-reflection and spiritual growth. Whether through fasting, chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya,' or simply spending time in quiet meditation, this night strengthens my faith. May Lord Shiva bless everyone with happiness, health, and the courage to overcome all obstacles. Har Har Mahadev!”

Earlier, Kishori shared her inspiration on playing Babita in the show, says, "When I discovered that Babita’s character was taking an extremely negative turn, I wasn’t completely shocked. From the beginning, I was told that Babita would be a strong character in the show, always focused on protecting Virat. From Babita Ahuja’s perspective, she is protecting her son and isn’t doing anything wrong. The challenge in portraying this character lies in her complexity. She isn’t a bad person, she’s just protective of her family. There are moments when her attitude towards Amruta changes, requiring me to make sudden shifts in my portrayal, which I believe the audience enjoys. My character has a deep purpose, and for an actor, it is always interesting to portray such roles. Every day I give my hundred percent so that Babita Ahuja will be remembered for years to come."
