Actor Goutam Sharma, who marked his TV debut with the show 'Do Dooni Pyaar' earlier in August this year, is sad with the show going off air in a few months.
Speaking to Times of India TV, he said, “So about the show, I wouldn't like to say anything more. Why the show ended, only the production house can say. The show has ended, we had fun. In short, it was going very well. All the actors had become very good friends, all the actors were very good. While acting with such good actors, even your acting becomes better. Every actor tells each other, ‘do this here, do this’ and so many things have also improved. The direction was very good. I don't know what the reason is, I don't even know why it happened. This journey of 2-3 months was good. It was very good, I enjoyed a lot. I am heartily thankful to them. Yes, I hope that we all get to do something good in the serial world again.”
The series also featured Shivika Pathak as Ganga and Gourav Sharma as Abhay, who is Akshay's brother. Akshay belongs to a middle-class family and resides with his mother. Akash is unaware of the truth about his identical twin brother, was the initial plot in the show.
In one of his previous conversation with Times of India TV, he exclusively shared that he is a movie buff in real life.
He mentioned, "In real life I'm a huge movie buff. I enjoy watching movies, fiction, and music. I also enjoy discussing and exploring facts about cinema. I feel passionate about acting. I realised my love for acting during my graduation. And I was sure to become an actor."
He added, "I was aware the showbiz industry is full of competition and struggle. But somewhere I trusted myself and shifted to Mumbai from Punjab. I am from Mukerian, a village in Punjab. I'm happy that my family always supported me to pursue my dreams. Having their back is encouraging me to achieve success."
Goutam and Gourav are real life brothers. Goutam is known for featuring in Guns & Gulaabs, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui among others.
