After exclusively reporting about model and actress Edin Rose entering the Bigg Boss 18 house as the third wildcard contestant, we have now learned that the makers have finalised yet another participant. Yamini Malhotra, known for her stint in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, is set to join the reality show in the coming days. Yamini will enter the house alongside Edin, making her the fourth wildcard contestant after Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Singh Rathee, and Edin Rose.
A source associated with the show revealed, “Yamini is known for her forthright and genuine nature, and we expect her to bring that same upfront and transparent attitude into the Bigg Boss house. Her ability to call a spade a spade might offer the contestants a much-needed reality check, stirring up dynamics in the house. She is likely to challenge the status quo and force others to reconsider their strategies, which will undoubtedly make for compelling viewing.”
Yamini could not be reached for comment.
The actress played Shivani Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin but quit the show a year after its inception. Her role was subsequently taken over by Tanvi Thakkar. With her entry into Bigg Boss 18, Yamini will mark her return to Hindi television after nearly three years. She is expected to enter the house by tomorrow morning.
As for Bigg Boss 18, the current line-up of contestants includes Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chaahat Pandey, Rajat Dalal, Tajinder Bagga, Shrutika Arjun, Chum Darang, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Alice Kaushik, Sara Arfeen Khan, Kashish Kapoor, and Digvijay Singh Rathee. This week’s nominations for eviction feature Tajinder Bagga, Shrutika Arjun, Rajat Dalal, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Karan Veer Mehra, Kashish Kapoor, and Chum Darang. The latest eviction saw Sara Arfeen Khan’s husband, Arfeen Khan, exiting the house. In another development, Salman Khan, who missed hosting Bigg Boss last weekend due to prior commitments, returned to the show to give the contestants a reality check.
