Exclusive- Former Ruhi aka Pratiksha Honmukhe's close friend dismisses the claims of the actress being unprofessional on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently saw a major change in the cast of the show. Producer Rajan Shahi had ousted Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe on the grounds of unprofessionalism and behaviour. When contacted the actors, remained unavailable to comment on their exit. Soon, actors Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani replaced the former cast as Armaan Poddar and Ruhi in the show.

However, both actors did post cryptic posts regarding their exit and netizens did try to decode the posts. Now, Pratiksha Honmukhe's close friend Kunal Mundhe exclusively reached out to ETimes TV clarifying that the actress had been extremely professional on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The friend said, "The way Pratiksha's image has been portrayed isn't right, she has been professional, this was her first show and she is a hard-working girl. Despite the 2 hours long travel to the sets on daily basis, she would be there punctually and give her 100% to work."

When asked about what had actually happened, the friend quipped, "I wouldn't want to comment on her personal matter but she has been extremely upset due to the sudden removal from the show. I agree she was influenced but she has always been professional."




For the unversed, Rajan Shahi and his team had issued a statement mentioning Shehzada Dhami's disrespect for work ethics was clear from the start, as he constantly threw tantrums and mistreated the staff. Despite efforts to resolve the matter, his behaviour continued, undermining the peaceful work environment that Directors Kut Production seeks to preserve. Pratiksha Honmukhe, a novice nurtured by the production firm, did not live up to the character requirements.
