Exclusive: Faltu actor Aakash Ahuja to play lead in a new untitled show; actor to be seen in a new avatar

Actor Aakash Ahuja, who was last seen in the TV show Faltu, is all set to headline a new show on the same channel. ETimes TV has learnt that Aakash will be seen in a new show and final talks with the production house.

Sources close to ETimes TV said, "Faltu actor Aakash Ahuja is again considered to play a lead in the show on the same channel. The show is still untitled but Aakash seems to be in final talks with the production. The concept of the show is very different and Aakash will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar.”

Not much is known about the show.

Aakash was last seen in Faltu, where he essayed the role of Ayaan Mittal. He was paired opposite Niharika Chouksey in the show. When the show wrapped up in nine months, Aakash expressed his disappointment and told BT, “There are other shows that are not doing well, yet they have been given a chance, while our show that has performed consistently is being axed. I had tears in my eyes when I heard that Faltu was coming to an end.”

Niharika, who played the role of Faltu about co-star Aakash Ahuja aka Ayaan said, "Ayaan is the Rahul to my Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he is my best friend not just on-screen but off-screen as well.”

Faltu went on air in November 2022 and wrapped up in nine months.


Professionally, Aakash was seen in Thapki Pyaar Ki 2. Aakash, who has been a part of many TV shows, played the antagonist in Karan Deol’s film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas in 2019. But a couple of years later, he got back to television. A. Apart from the above, he was also a part of projects like ‘O Gujariya: Badlenge Chal Duniya’ and ‘Qubool Hai’.
