Exclusive - Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh and husband trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine

Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh and her husband Rohit Raj Goyal recently went to Jammu and where they made it a point to trek it to VaishnoDevi shrine.
While not many trek it all the way these days and there are easier and quicker means to reach the shrine Deepika and Rohit took the longer route and made sure they walked almost five hours to get a lovely " Darshan " of the the holy place.

Ask Deepika and she says, "Rohit and I, we both felt grateful that we are healthy enough that we can challenge our bodies this way. I love trekking and it becomes more special when faith is involved. We both have immense faith in Maa Vaishnodevi. When we visit the Temple we offer something to God as a mark of Respect. We did this out of absolute respect and faith."
Deepika said, "After doing this trek I felt more connected to myself, grateful, happy, my faith has become more stronger, I am feeling more connected to my higher self and feel blessed."
She further adds, "I feel to keep any relationship in tact, be it with God or with the people around you we need to work hard on it with compassion and kindness. We did this trek by choice by believing in the same philosophy."
Deepika and Rohit were visiting Jammu for a film festival where their film "Titu Ambani" had won many awards.
