Exclusive – Bigg Boss OTT contestant Divya Agarwal: Varun and I are now friends with Priyank Sharma; took tips from him before entering the house

Reality TV personality Divya Agarwal has entered Bigg Boss OTT house on Sunday (August 8). Prior to entering the house, Divya spoke to ETimes TV about her preparation. Having done reality shows like Splitsvilla, Roadies and winning Ace of Space, Divya exclaimed that Bigg Boss OTT is going to be a cakewalk for her and she is super excited. Divya also spoke about how she is going to flaunt her cooking skills, taking tips from ex Priyank Sharma, her style statements and more.

I am feeling fine. I don’t have any pressure or nervousness. Bigg Boss house is much more open space than ‘Ace of Space’. I will obviously get more space to breathe. I am excited to go inside Bigg Boss house. You have to cook your own food and do everything else on your own. I am a fabulous cook. Main sardarni hu. Bada achha khana banati hu. Actually, no. I am in a very good mental space right now. Touchwood. Last year has been a very tough one, you know it very well. This year, career-wise, personal life-wise, everything is sorted mentally. I am going in the game just for the game and not to prove anything. In 2011, I first saw Karan Johar. I was the background artist on his film ‘Student of the Year’. That was the first time I saw Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra. Seeing them I felt, inki toh nikal padi. They are all going to be big stars in no time. I felt when will that moment come for me. It has been a decade-long struggle for me now. The stars are aligned and I feel it’s my time now. I have music videos and web show coming up. I am overwhelmed. Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar and then Salman Khan – take all the names you want. Kya pata what will happen. I genuinely feel whatever the project is … no matter big or small, you should feel it from within. I don’t think that while working in that project you have second thoughts about taking it up. And I think before taking up any project. It would be fun if I get approached. You are talking about Priyank (Sharma)? I am very comfortable with him now. We have sorted out things between us. We are very good friends now. Varun, Priyank and I talk and we also respect each other’s work. Whatever happened in the past, was bachpana (childish). It was confusion and we were all very new and young. We had no idea how to tackle media, camera or ourselves. We have learnt a lot. I have also take a few game advice and tips from him (Priyank). He helped me. So things are nice. There’s no stress. I have kept some great stylists for my looks in the show. They are going to experiment on my looks. I have lost a lot of weight too and now fitting in ‘S’ size clothes. I am very happy. It’s going to be very floral, flowy, chic and bohemian style of dressing. People will like it. Thankfully, I won’t have to buy new clothes this year. Pic: Instagram

I will miss being with my mother, my brother and Varun – all three of them. They are very close to my heart. I am also going to miss my friends but they are very supportive and chill about it. There might be too many incidents that might get too much on them when I am inside the house. It may be for my game or my father’s death anniversary. I am afraid how they will handle it alone. It’s also Dollar’s (their pet dog) first anniversary, I don’t know how they are going to hold up. I don’t know if I will be alone in the house or get to make friends.
