Exclusive - Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre holidays in the US with daughter Ashi for her birthday; says 'She is my world, and her birthday is always special'

Actress Shubhangi Atre, known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, is currently in the United States for a short vacation. She says this break is all about taking a little “me time” and celebrating a very special occasion — her daughter Ashi’s birthday, which falls on 12th August.

Talking about her trip, Shubhangi shares, “Life gets very busy when you are constantly shooting and managing home. I felt I needed a short pause to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with my loved ones. Coming to the US for a few days was the perfect plan.”

The actress adds that the main highlight of her visit is her daughter’s birthday. “Ashi is my world. Her birthday is always a very special day for me. This year, I wanted to do something different for her. Being in the US, we are celebrating in a beautiful way, making memories that will stay with us forever,” she says with a smile.

Shubhangi admits that she values these moments more than anything else. “As actors, we sometimes miss out on family occasions because of work commitments. I am grateful that this year, I could be with Ashi on her special day. Watching her smile is the best gift I could ever get,” she says.

While she is enjoying her holiday, Shubhangi also feels that a little solo time is important. “Me time is not about being alone, it’s about doing things that make you happy and peaceful. For me, that is travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with my daughter. This trip has been exactly that,” she shares.

She adds that the short break is already helping her feel fresh and inspired. “When I go back to work, I will be more energised and positive. Sometimes, all you need is a small break to feel good inside out,” she says.
