Lohri is a popular winter Dogra and Punjabi folk festival held largely in Northern India. There are numerous legends and significances associated with the Lohri festival, which are linked to the Duggar and Punjab regions. Many think that the festival marks the end of the winter solstice. Lohri commemorates the end of winter and is a traditional celebration of longer days and the sun's return to the Northern Hemisphere. It's observed the night before Maghi. Ayushi Khurana who essays the role of Reet in Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile said, “This Lohri is a little extra special for me as it’s my first one after marriage. The excitement of celebrating it with my new family feels like starting a beautiful chapter filled with warmth and love. I remember as a child, dancing to Lohri songs with my cousins, and now, sharing the same joy with my husband and extended family feels surreal. One of the most favourite parts of celebrating this festival was eating Til ke Laddoo and Gud ki Gajak made by my mom, they’ve always been my comfort food during this festival. I believe Lohri is about love, unity, and new beginnings, and I feel truly blessed to celebrate it with my loved ones. Wishing everyone a Lohri filled with light, joy, and endless blessings!"

Arjit Taneja, who essays the role of Virat in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, said, “Lohri has always been one of my favourite festivals. Growing up in Delhi, the celebrations were nothing short of magical- from the crackling bonfires and rhythmic beats of the dhol to the joy of being surrounded by loved ones. As a child, I would excitedly run from house to house, collecting Til and Gud ki Rewari like little treasures – those memories are so special to me! What I miss the most though, is my mom’s makki di roti and sarson da saag – no one can recreate the magic of her cooking, and I crave it every day. This year, as I’m busy shooting for Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, I won’t be able to visit my family in Delhi, and I’ll deeply miss the festive vibe back home. To everyone celebrating, may your Lohri be filled with love, warmth, and happiness. Wishing you all a very Happy Lohri!”
