Exclusive - Avinash Sachdev on ex-GF Palak Purswani's cheating allegations: We broke up 18 months ago and she has someone in her life, she should get over me now

Bigg Boss OTT season 2 contestant Avinash Sachdev, who got eliminated from the show in a shocking double evictions, is content with his journey in the show. The actor spoke to ETimes TV exclusively after coming out of the show about Actors vs Youtubers debate and Abhishek Malhan getting insecure after Elvish Yadav's entry. He also talked about the cheating and infidelity allegations that his ex-girlfriend Palak Purswani accused him of. He denied them and also asked her to get over him. No, I was not disappointed with my eviction, the show was for 6 weeks and I stayed for seven so technically I completed my journey on the show. But yes many people told me that my progress in the game was visible and I was very different on the show. I did not come on the show with a prefixed mindset. My game got stronger with my journey in the show and I adapted to the situation in the house. Definitely I also feel I deserved to stay be in the finale but if everything depends on having followers then nothing can be done. So, let them play in their community. (Photo: Instagram)

Yaa it seems a little unfair for actors to be in a game show where only followers are important. But I will still not lose hope because the results are not yet out. I would not like to comment on it now. As far as the game being unfair towards actors, I feel let them keep talking about having 10 million, 15 million followers it is not going to change anything about our careers. Pooja Bhatt has worked in the industry for many years and has done incredible work. I’ve done many projects and we won people’s hearts through our work. We have never boasted about having fans or followers, we have always hard to reach where we are. Abhishek has developed a sense of insecurity after Elvish’s entry because they both belong to the same background and both consider themselves very big personality. I’ve realised that after Elvish’s entry Abhishek started losing his calm quite often. Maybe he thought that I’ve to stand out and differentiate my journey. It was after Elvish’s entry that he started taking about followers. The air of confidence in which Abhishek was living got a pump after Elvish’s entry. I had cleared on Bigg Boss’ platform itself about my breakup with Palak during a conversation with Jiya Shankar and I think she must have watched it and couldn’t handle it. It’s been 18 months to our breakup and unke life mein Kisi Aur ki entry bhi ho chuki hai (there is someone else in her life). Palak must have definitely not mentioned about it in the interview. Jad is travelling to Dubai, so before that we met Falaq for dinner. We met her extended family also, cousins and all. Falaq and I spoke with each other, jitni zaruri baat thi woh ki humne...We dined with each other. I'm happy we both are on the same page. We both don't want to rush into things. Aur mujhe ye cheez bahut acchi lagti hai, ke mujhe kuch bhi saamne waale ko zabardasti samjhane ki zarurat nahi pad rahi hai.. ke where are you coming from. I know her feelings well, she knows mine and I know her priorities, she knows mine and we both have different priorities in life. Uska aur mera backlog alag hai. I understand the whole chemistry, pyaar toh mujhe kayi baar hua hai. It has stood up to me on a different level in my own eyes. Yes, I also heard about it today. There's nothing like this, humari industry mein kuch bhi nahi chupta hai... had I dated Shafaq Naaz, the news would have been out because I had just wrapped up Choti Bahu and was going through a breakup with Rubina Dilaik. Agar aisi koi cheez hoti humare beech mein, toh kya aap ko lagta hai, ye news bachti bahar aane se. It would have definitely come out and it would have spread on a big level. There was nothing like that, we did a nice, good show together and it was a great outdoor shoot. We stayed at Mahabaleshwar for the shoot for 20 days and it was a good experience, bahut accha shoot tha, show tha aur bahut acchi bonding hui thi... nothing else. Bigg Boss came into my family at the right time. I believe that universe always gives you opportunities at the right time. I wanted Bigg Boss at any cost when the show was offered to me. Covid phase was just in control and all my investments were exhausted. I had lost all my finances, my savings, house, car and it has taken a toll on my health also. I had lost the confidence of giving audition also. Main bhagne laga tha, I’d started to make excuses like I’ll do it tomorrow or I would not fit the role, ghar se Kaun deta hai audition. This went on with me for 2/3 months. I didn’t want to face anything as I had become mentally weak. So, Woh cheez se guzarna Aur phir Bigg Boss milna, was like a revival for me. I’m not carrying any baggage about Bigg Boss or for Jiya Shankar. It’s not like I won’t meet or anything like that. I understand things get difficult inside the house, Woh agar game khel ne aayi toh khele… I was not there to play any games. My friendship for her was visible to everyone.
