Exclusive - Anupamaa's actor Shivam Khajuria on the everlasting bond with his father; says 'Even in his absence, he leads me'
On the occasion of Father’s Day, actor Shivam Khajuria, currently seen as Prem in the popular television show Anupamaa, shared a deeply emotional tribute to his late father, crediting him as the driving force behind his decision to pursue acting.
Reflecting on his personal journey, Shivam said, “My father played a significant role in my decision to become an actor. Even after he passed away, I still feel his presence in my career. I often have dreams where my father guides me and supports me in my acting journey."
"These dreams give me the strength and motivation to keep pursuing my aspirations. I believe he's my guardian angel, watching over me and leading me toward my goals,” he added.
Known for his grounded personality and emotional depth, Shivam’s tribute struck a chord with fans and admirers alike, reminding everyone of the profound influence parental love can have, even beyond a lifetime.
As he continues to grow as an actor on-screen, he carries his father’s memory close, letting it shape and strengthen his path.
Shivam Khajuria began his acting career with the show Molkki, where he played the role of Naveen. However, the turning point in his career came with the TV show, Mann Sundar, in which he portrayed the lead character Nihar Goyal. In 2023, Shivam took up a grey-shaded character in Kumkum Bhagya, but later he made an exit from the show due to creative differences. He soon joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, playing the role of Rohit Poddar, Armaan’s younger brother and Ruhi’s husband—an important step forward in his acting journey. Presently, he is seen in Anupamaa as Prem "Tiku" Kothari, further expanding his presence in the television industry.
