Exclusive- Anshul Trivedi recalls working with Rituraj Singh in Trideviyan and expresses grief, says "I still can’t come to terms with the fact that he is no more"

The sudden demise of veteran actor Rituraj Singh has severely affected his fans, industry colleagues, and loved ones. Rituraj had been a part of hit TV shows. One of them being Trideviyan. Rituraj's onscreen son from the show Anshul Trivedi exclusively spoke to ETimes TV expressing his grief. He shared how he was still in shock to believe that his onscreen father was no more.

Anshul shared, "Aishwarya Sakhuja called me in the morning to share the sad news, I am still in shock! I can't believe that he is no more. Rituraj sir was my mentor and someone whom I shared a friendly bond with though he was senior to me. He played the character of my father in ‘Trideviyan’. He was such a fine actor. Ritu sir has been one of those artists whom I was in awe of as I knew his journey and everything about his Berry John theatre days in Delhi with actors like Shahrukh Khan, Divya Seth etc. Though we weren't meeting all the time but made sure to stay in touch, he was a positive and energetic person, zinda dil insaan the! I still can’t come to terms with the fact that he is no more."




Rituraj Singh passed away due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 59 leaving everyone shocked and numb. Rituraj has had an impressive repertoire of work in TV, Films as well as Theatre. Celebs from the entertainment fraternity have been sharing their condolences. Rituraj is survived by his wife Charu, daughter Jahaan and son Adhiraj.
