Aditya Deshmukh, who has been part of shows like Ziddi Dil Maane Na, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, has now joined the cast of Suhaagan. The show is going through a leap and Aditya will be part of the show post the leap. He will play the role of Vikram, who is the lead character's elder brother in the show.

Talking about his role, Aditya says, "I play Krishna's elder brother and my role has grey shades. He is envious of his younger brother because he feels that he does all the work but the credit is given to the younger one. He doesn't like that and keeps provoking his mother against her younger son. But Vikram does not show his envious side to his brother."

Aditya is playing a negative role after a while. He says, "Since 2020, I have only been playing positive roles. Now that I have bagged a role with grey shades, I am happy about it. I like playing negative roles because they give an actor a lot of scope to perform. Many feel this way and hence prefer doing negative roles. I don't mind playing negative or positive on screen as long as the character is interesting."

Aditya's last show Lag Jaa Gale went off air last month, soon after he joined the show. Talking about it, he says, "We don't know what went wrong and why the show had to go off air suddenly. As an actor, one puts in a lot of effort in doing a role, and when the show goes off air abruptly, it affects us. But then it is part of our job. Within one-and-half months of me joining the show, it went off air. But I am glad that I have now bagged Suhaagan."
