Exclusive: Actress-producer Bhairavi Raichura reveals how Aamna Sharif came to sets despite keeping unwell

Hum Paanch and Balika Vadhu fame Bhairavi Raichura is now a well known producer, who has worked on many TV shows and OTT platforms. The actress-turned-producer recently produced a show on an OTT platform, which featured Aamna Sharif, Gaurav Arora, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Pratibha Ranta in the lead roles.
Producer Bhairavi shared her working experience with the actors and also how Aamna came to sets despite keeping unwell.
Bhairavi, while speaking to ETimes TV shared, “Aamna, Kunal, Gaurav, Pratibha and Chitra di…the entire cast has been extremely cooperative. It was a tough shoot. We were shooting in -4, -5 degrees. As an actor, I know you have to look good, remember your lines and the cold was killing. But none of them created any drama. In fact, Aamna wasn’t well for two days. She still came on sets. Nandita ji, our director told her to pack up early and gave her a day off. But she was very professional. They were always on time, no tantrums. The whole thing went very smoothly. They did a great job.”

About which role she loves the most – being an actor or producer – Bhairavi replied, “Acting will always be my first love. However, I am just not producing but also involved with the creative process. From scripting to look and feel to casting, everything I am involved. It is very hectic. There is no pack-up for a producer.”
When asked if she missed being in front of the camera, she replied, “Honestly, I am a very shy person. I am not even on social media. I don’t miss the glamour part of it but I definitely miss the acting part of it. And who doesn’t like appreciation. So, I miss that. With the whole OTT thing, there are such great roles for all age groups. You don’t get to play mom roles in your 30s and 40s.”
