Exclusive: Aangan Aapno Ka’s Ayushi Khurana reveals reel husband Samar Vermani aka Akash addressed her as ‘behen’ on first day of shoot

In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Ayushi Khurana from "Aangan Aapno Ka" disclosed a memorable anecdote from her early days on set. She revealed that Samar Vermani, who plays her reel husband Akash, initially addressed her as 'behen' on their first day of shoot.

Ayushi, who is seen in the role of Pallavi, shared, “With Samar I have a ‘buddy’ wala scene. Aur usne pehle din hi mujhe behen bol diya tha toh aur bhi buddy buddy wala feel aata hai. First day on sets and he tells me, ‘Aa behen hum lines kare’. I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ and since then we have a very chill scene between us. He is good to work with, very well prepped with scenes. He is very good with emotional scenes. He is a good actor.”

Samar Vermani, who plays the role of Aakash Awasthy was in splits after learning Ayushi’s revelation with ETimes TV. He said, “Yes, she still keeps teasing me for that. Ab woh mujhe bhaiya bhaiya bolna shuru kar diya hai. How do I put it? If I have to break that comfort zone, I just casually said chal behen lines karte hai. I didn’t really meant it. We both are professionals. Agar off camera aisa bhai behen ka relationship hai bhi, jo ki nahi hai, but on-camera people are loving our chemistry. That’s what matters.”

This is Ayushi’s second show in the lead role. She was previously seen in Ajooni opposite Shoaib Ibrahim and they gained much recognition. On the other hand, Samar is known for Katha Ankahee (2022), Happy Family Conditions Apply (2023) and Girgit (2021)
