Erica Fernandes spills the beans on the sudden wrap up of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3; slams the makers and calls out their ‘hypocrisy’

Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh starrer Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 is set to go off-air soon. The show that set forth on a new journey after two successful seasons, will come to an end in the next two days. Not much beyond ‘low ratings’ is known as the reason for its closure. Ahead of its wrap up, Erica shared a long post with cryptic details that reveal the untold reasons behind its abrupt end and more. Take a look:

A note of gratitude

Erica began her note by thanking fans and viewers for loving the show through all of its seasons. “To start with I would like to thank everyone who loved Kuch rang right from its conception. The immense love we were showered with was heart touching. Due to various reasons when the show had to go off air the first time, the power n love from the very same Kuch rang family pulled us back once again on screen nearly after a month of it going off-air. Because of the very same Kuch rang family we were more than thrilled to come back once again with so much enthusiasm.” (Pic: Instagram)

Disappointed with how her character Sonakshi was framed in the third season

In the very next instance, the actress talked about her character, Sonakshi. Her disappointment with how the character was framed in the third season is quite evident through her words. Erica wrote, “As for Sonakshi a character so dear to you and me, a character that was an inspiration to many, a character who was so strong, smart, balanced.. the Sonakshi we once witnessed in seasons 1 & 2, the one we expected to see this season too but unfortunately we had to see the complete opposite of what she was. I hope you'll always remember Sonakshi from the first 2 seasons and not how weak and confused she was made to look this season where in, in the first 2 seasons putting aside everything else.. she at least had a job and an office to go to and not where she had to sit at home doing just nothing.” (Pic: Instagram)

Choosing self-respect above the responsibilities

The next few lines by Erica reveal how she tried her best to portray the character to her best potential while hoping for it to grow stronger. She reveals how she chose to move on when things didn't change or improve. “Sometimes when you have to choose between your self-respect and a show so dear.. you have to make hard decisions. (not mentioning the various other reasons) And you can't always take others responsibilities on your shoulders, you have to look after yourself and make choices based on that. I always give time to see if things change but when they don't, then you know you can't force someone to value you but you can choose to not be disrespected and move on to better things ahead,” she wrote. A request from fans to remember the best part of the show and her character

Erica requested all the disheartened fans to go back and watch the first season to smile and keep the best memories of the show with them. She added, “For all who were disheartened and disappointed about this season (from all your comments that I read and the trends on Twitter that I witnessed).. just ask yourself why we all came back to watch this show in the first place, maybe go back watch a couple of episodes from the 1st season and remember us well, for all the efforts we put into making you come back for more, maybe that would bring a smile on your face.” (Pic: Instagram)

Note of appreciation for the writer of 1st and 2nd season

The first two seasons of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi were written by ace Indian writer and novelist Durjoy Datta. Apparently, this was not the case for the third season. And it looks like Erica feels that the show didn’t turn out to be as good as it used to be because he was missing in this season. In the next part of her note, the actress wrote a note of appreciation for Durjoy Datta and commended his ‘masterpiece’. She wrote, “Well, we had made a masterpiece years ago but if you remove the master from the masterpiece then you are only left with pieces and Durjoy you were tremendously missed this season. You brought subtlety and wrote with all your very visible heart. The romance was simple but real and touching. The show had very realistic drama and never a negative force which made our show so unique. You had visualised and shaped the show so beautifully while adding your touch to it .. it almost felt like a novel coming to life.” (Pic: Instagram)

Remembering the good times with the team

Erica thanked the director Noel Smith for not letting any obstacle come in the way and giving his best to the show. “I would like to also thank my director Mr Smith .. Noel smith for being our batman and handling the situation well and tackling all those obstacles that came our way. It wasn't easy but you did it with ease,” she said.

The actress remembered her time with co-actors and added, “I will take back fond memories of the times we all spent together while filming in Siliguri and Mumbai. I will miss the masti with my 3 monkeys, Maa, Shaheer and the rest of the team.” (Pic: Instagram)

Unveiling the hypocrisy and blame game

The latter part of Erica’s note reveals that she is the one being blamed for the show’s quick termination. Divulging the hypocrisy of the makers, she wrote, “Ever thought? When a show is successful it is very easy and convenient to say that the success of the show is not because of a particular individual but because of teamwork and the entire team's effort.. but it is so easy to blame a particular individual when a show has to shut! How hypocritically convenient right?” (Pic: Instagram)

Concluding it with gratitude

Erica wrapped up her note by thanking her fans, followers and supporter for loving her throughout the journey. Sending love to everyone, she said, “To conclude, I would like to thank all those who have supported me through this journey and my decisions be it my team or my Ejfians and KRPKABians Much love, Erica Jennifer Fernandes.” (Pic: Instagram)

Show wrapped because your role was not given importance and sanjana character was annoying and people did not liked sanjana character . The writer of the show is the only person to be blamed . Sonakshi and Dev people loved and in future if show has to go then it should be based on those character
