Endemol's Devki gets scrapped?

Endemol India has churned out some path breaking daily soaps in the past like Sabki Laadli Bebo, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Dharampatni to name a few was recently in the news its new project Devki, on Life OK.
However, the latest news doing the rounds is that the show has been scrapped.
Sources inform that the show had some promising on the small screen like Divyanka Tripathi, Mrunal Jain and Gopi Desai who were roped into play the pivotal roles on the show.The concept of the show was loosely inspired by Bollywood's hit film Bhool Bhoolaiya but things did not materialize and the show has been scrapped. We also hear that the reason behind the show getting scrapped is that the channel already has shows of similar genre and Devki will be a repetitive attempt.
