Ekta Kaul missing in action

A television show without its protagonist results in mayhem on the set. Especially if the lead actor is required in every frame. It is exactly this scenario that is playing out on the set of 'Mere Angne Mein'.
Ekta Kaul, the show’s heroine, has been missing in action since October 22. She is apparently down with dengue and is recuperating in her hometown (Jammu). The makers are reworking the script to justify her absence.
Says a source, “Ekta left for a holiday in

Dubai

on October 22 and returned a week later. But she fell sick on the day she resumed the shoot and has been advised a 10-day bed rest. So, technically, we haven’t shot with her since October 22. The entire script bank is being reworked, and she will be shown going to her father’s house.” Despite repeated attempts, we couldn’t reach Ekta for comment.
