Ekta Kapoor’s office is like a ‘mandir’: Usha Nadkarni

Usha Nadkarni is known for her straight forward attitude in this industry over the years. The veteran actress made headlines for quitting Pavitra Rishta sometimes back however Ekta Kapoor re-stored her in the show mutually.
“Firstly, I don’t believe that Ekta is not soft spoken and down to earth person. She is very sweet indeed. For the first time I went to Ektaji’s office and I was mesmerized with the set up.There were statues and pictures of various gods everywhere. Her office I felt was likes a Mandir (Temple),” observed Usha.
She further continues, “I even asked her (Ekta) whether I should take off my shoes and enter the office because I felt it was some holy place. But she respectfully said that I don’t have to take off my shoes.”
On being asked why despite of 5 years of association with Pavitra Rishta, the actress visited the office for the first time, on which she spontaneously quipped, “Because I usually don’t have complains and I am not into dirty politics.”
Usha Nadkarni is now seen in Colors' Mrs. Pammi Pyarelalalong with Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta in a two contrast characters.
