Ekta Kapoor's much awaited show
Chandrakanta
was launched in Mumbai on June 14. The show features
Madhurima Tuli,
Urvashi Dholakia
and
Vishal Aditya Singh
in pivotal roles.
Chandrakanta was one of the most talked about show because of their already on-air competitor. Life Ok's Prem Ya Paheli: Chandrakanta has been on-air for a while now and has already set up its fan-base and now Balaji and Colors have brought up another show with the same concept.
The makers and the channel say that their show will be completely different than the one that is already airing. Certain characters like that of Urvashi are not seen on the other show.

Actress Madhurima Tuli who plays the lead role on the show said," I have seen a few episodes of the other show. And I know that our show is completely different."
The show airs from the June 24 and will be replacing Naagin 2.
