She also adds, "Even Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is exploring a newer theme of a woman who can't conceive - for the first time, 'Bade Acche Laggte Hain' was a mature love story and how two different individuals can find love and similarly Meri Aashiqui also explores a different angle.
So with every show, I have tried to introduce my way of social messaging to the audiences."
But ask her if Meri Aashiqui is inspired from a Bollywood film and she says, "There are only seven love stories in the world. One will find inspiration in every story they see on screen, inspired from a book or a film. In fact, if you observe closely, there are more weird love stories in real life than on reel."
The producer also denies that she will be upset with the actor Shakti Arora or any other actor if a show does not work. She says, "If a particular character fails to strike a chord with the audiences, then somewhere I have also failed to write or perceive the story well that it connects with the audiences. But I am happy with Shakti's performance in 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi'."
