Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan actress Natasha Singh to make her debut in Telugu cinema

Actress Natasha Singh, who was last seen in the TV show Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, is all set to make her Tollywood debut. Natasha will play a journalist in an untitled Telugu film and will be cast opposite actor Sanjay Rao. Natasha is excited about her debut film. She says, "It's a thriller and revolves around a cop and a journalist. I will be playing the role of a reporter, who is helping the cop unravel the murder mystery."

After Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, Natasha took a break from TV. She shares, "After my show wrapped up, I got a couple of offers but I deliberately took a break. I was shooting long hours ever since I took up the show, and that left me with no time for family. I wanted to spend time with my parents and also do something different after doing a TV show. Television is a great medium, but the hectic schedules are killing. Actors work long hours without taking breaks. Also, I wanted to explore a different medium, so I was happy to do this film. I decided to move to Hyderabad to explore new opportunities there. And I am glad that I landed a film project."

She likes the functioning in the south industry. "You are given opportunities on the basis of your talent and not just your social media presence. I love Telugu films. They have good content. The stories appeal to masses and they could be larger-than-life but people enjoy these films," she says.
