‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’ to return with second season

Among the many shows, which have returned with a new season, the latest one to be added to the list is ‘

Ek Duje Ke Vaaste

’ (‘EDKV’). The TV show, which made Nikita Dutta and

Namik Paul

a household name, is all set to return with its second edition three years after its inaugural season. It is expected to hit the tube in December and the casting for the show is underway.

Informs a source associated with the project, “Season One of the show was appreciated by the audience and we wanted to bring it back with a new season. We are positive that we will be able to recreate the magic. We are in the process of locking the story and the cast of the show.”

Confirming the news, Vishal Mehra, the project head, tells us, “The essence of ‘EDKV’, a love story, will be the foundation of the upcoming season as well. The new edition will be set in Bhopal and we are scouting for actors in Bhopal, Gwalior and Indore to play the lead couple.”

We hear that it will be an all-new cast in the second season. The inaugural season also featured actors like Madan Joshi,

, Rajiv Kumar and Anjali Mukhi.
