Zain Imam on his character – Kabir Mittal
I play Kabir Mittal and I love my family a lot.But there’s always a tussle between Kabir and his father, played by Ayub Khan. Kabir’s father wanted him to join the family business, but he goes against his family to join the Army. Hence, there’s a lot of hatred and disinterest in my character.
Are you aware about Shrenu aka Janhvi Mittal’s hidden motive?
Initially, Kabir is not aware of Janhvi’s intentions. But slowly things will reveal.

Who is your ideal girl?
I think she should be clear at heart and be respectable towards the family. That’s the most important thing one would expect out of their daughter-in-law.
Will you go against your parents wish to marry the girl of your choice?
I will try to convince my parents and take time to make them understand. We all are mature enough to make our parents understand our situation.
Single or taken?
It’s difficult to say. Nobody can find out this.
Working with Shrenu after Ishqbaaz...
I had fewer scenes with her in Ishqbaaz. But she is a friend and our bond is growing in this show.
