Divya Prem actress Ridhima Tiwari on her look as Rakshasi; says ‘This entire look is something I’ve never carried before’

Stepping into a new character often means diving into a different world, but for actress Ridhima Tiwari, her transformation into the fierce and intimidating Rakshasi in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani has been an experience like no other. The role demands a powerful visual presence, and her costume plays a huge part in bringing that dark, mystical energy to life. From dramatic fabrics to heavy jewelry, every detail of her look has been designed to reflect strength, mystery, and menace.

Describing her unconventional appearance, Ridhima shared, “My character is dark and demonic, so naturally, black is the first color that comes to mind. But my look also has a twist: it's a blend of black, gold, and a touch of rust, which in imagination can symbolize blood, giving it a powerful and mysterious vibe.” She explained that her costume is an elegant mix of a dhoti and short choli, enhanced with bold gold borders and completed with a dramatic veil. “The heavy gold embellishments of my statement necklace, bracelets, and arm amulets all come together to make the look stand out,” she added.

However, it is the headgear that truly sets her transformation apart. “What makes it even more special is the headgear; I’ve never worn something like this before,” she revealed. Though challenging to wear for long shooting schedules, it helps her embody her character completely once she is on set. “The black nail polish, nose pin, and rustic-golden tones bring that perfect balance of grace and raw power. Personally, I like the fabric of the outfit because it is very breathable, which makes long shooting hours easier. This entire look is something I’ve never carried before, and I truly love it. It’s powerful, different, and perfectly matches the essence of my role.”

With the story taking an 8-year leap, Divya’s world has become darker and more dangerous. As Rakshasi rises with destructive force, Divya must face new trials, protect her family, and fight the shadows closing in setting the stage for intense drama ahead.
