Divya Agarwal has called out
Mahira Sharma for forging the certificate of appreciation by the Dadasaheb Phalke committee. She tweeted that the act done by the Bigg Boss 13 contestant was 'disgraceful'.
For the uninitiated, Mahira, who was invited to be a part of the
Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival
(
DPIFF
), shared in her Instagram story on Feb 20th the certificate of appreciation she had received for being 'The Most Fashionable Contestant Of Bigg Boss 13'.
However, in their open letter, the committee denied the same, and shared that the letter had not been issued by any team member of DPIFF team or the associates involved in the event. They officially announced it was forged.
Reacting to the same, Divya tweeted, "Forgery with life is not so cool...cheating the Dadasaheb Phalke award is a disgrace.. #MahiraSharma."
In the end, the DPIFF team issued a letter of intimation to Mahira Sharma, asking her to remove the photos circulated everywhere and share a written apology for the same within 48 hours. They also warned her of legal consequences this might lead to, if she fails to do so.
Mahira rose to fame as she participated in Bigg Boss 13. During her stay in the house, she made maximum noise for her enmity with
Asim Riaz
and closeness with Paras Chhabra.
