The TV hottie is all set to make his film debut with 'Missing On A Weekend'. He will don the role of an assistant cop along side critically acclaimed Pavan Malhotra.The actor was in a dilemma over doing the film. However, his character and Pavan Malhotra's presence made him change his mind. "I have mostly played a younger brother's character in TV shows. But this role was of a cop so I agreed to do it. Also one of the main reasons to do the project was Pawan Malhotra's presence in the film. I bonded really well with Pavan sir, Hariharan's son Karan is also making a debut with this film. We all had a good time shooting for the film," said the actor.READ ALSO:Aamir Khan praises Anil Kapoor for 24 season 2Talking more about Pavan Malhotra, Dishank said, "We are from the same school. He is my senior. We went to the same school in Delhi. We were shooting in Goa and that's when we all got to know each other really well."Dishank is open to working on any medium and has no qualms doing films, TV together. "I am an actor for me medium doesn't matter. I just want to do good work whether it is TV or film I am ready to open to work," shared the actor.
Many of his contemporaries have made a successful transition from TV to Bollywood. However, the actor is inspired with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's career graph. "His struggle and every step in the industry is a learning experience. The films he did at the beginning of his career were a huge risk for any beginner but he accepted challenges.
